SMCC blood drive registered 25 donors and collected 26 pints of blood. You and your team also registered 2 first time donors.
Thank you for your gifts of time and support. We truly appreciate your generosity. The patients who have benefited from the blood collected at your blood drive are beyond grateful.

January 27: Diabetes Stew Fest from 9 am – 2 pm. Please plan to join us for this fundraiser.
January 31: First Responder Prayer Service is scheduled at Sharon United Methodist Church from 7pm – until. We invite all EMS/Fire/Police and their families, friends and community members to join this first annual event.
Deadline: February 1, 2019: SMCC is entitled to have 4 voting delegates at the Regional Assembly scheduled for April 27, 2019 at Barton College. If you are interested in this important role, please let the office know.
February 16: The CWF Valentine Dinner will be on Saturday at
5:30. Bring your own desserts and steaks, which will be
cooked by the men. Salad bar, baked potatoes, rolls, beverages &
entertainment will be provided. There will be a sign-up list in the
Narthex. Thank you, Tammy, Cindy, Beverly & Connie for volunteering.
If anyone knows of anyone that would donate a door prize, please
solicit those. A good time will be had by all.
February 17: NC Disciples Women’s Ministries is sponsoring a “Heart to Heart” meeting from 3-5 at Goldsboro First Christian Church. Registration is $7.00 – contact Nancy Parker for details.
February 24: Youth Spaghetti Fundraiser
March 1: Church Women United will meet at Westminster Methodist Church at 9:30-11:00 am for a meeting and refreshments. Please bring canned goods for ICOR, which is an ongoing project for Lenoir County.
March 8-9: NC Disciples Women’s Ministries is presenting “A Day Apart Women’s Retreat” at Camp Caroline. Overnight: $80, Saturday Only $55. Keynote Speaker: Pat Montgomery. Registration is now open on line or you can see Nancy Parker for any info/details.
