| The Christian Women's Fellowship is an active part of this church. There are four different "circles" of women who meet periodically on a set schedule. | ||||||||||||||||
| The Saturday Morning Circle meets at the church at 9 a.m. They send cards to church members and community members. They feed those who are hospitalized or shut-in. They have a variety of activities. | ||||||||||||||||
| The Wednesday Morning Circle meets at the church and has its own agenda for its circle. These women have bible study and worship while actively participating in projects throughout the year. | ||||||||||||||||
| The Dorcas Circle meets the third Monday evenings each month in the home of different circle members. Their meetings are quite "refreshing" because members usually prepare light refreshments. They participate in projects and bible studies as well. | ||||||||||||||||
| New Circle formed in August 2006. Group has been named, "Ray of Hope Circle." Meets monthly at the home of Diane E. Contact Diane E. if interested in this group. | ||||||||||||||||

| New or used pocketbooks are also being collected for the Women's Quadrennial 2010 in Greensboro, NC in June as a service project. | |

CWF NEWS From Darcie B., President of CWF
October 2009: Dear Church Family: I would like to say a big "Thank You" to Heather K. for planning the CWF Kickoff held on September 8th in the Family Life Center. It was a wonderful opportunity for all women to find out about CWF. Thanks to all the women who had a hand in the presentation and to the Ray of Hope Circle for setting up and to Angie W. for providing such a marvelous array of food for everyone. Everything was great! Thanks also for all the women who took time out to participate. A good time was had by all. Now, everyone go out and invite someone who does not belong to a women's circle to come to your next meeting. On October 10th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., the Richlands Christian Church will host a Southeastern District CWF retreat celebrating "God's Harvest". This is the first annual Southeastern District Women's meeting to be held in a while and is open to all women of the church. If you are interested in attending, please call Darcie B. We will be meeting at our church at 8:45 a.m. on October 10th to carpool to Richlands. Don't forget that the Harvest Festival is just around the corner and we need to be gathering up items for the Crafts, Country Store and Bake Sale. D. Bumgarner, General CWF President |
