The scouts attended a tour of the Kinston
Free Press in February. Thanks to Billy M. and company for
hosting us. The Blue and Gold Banquet
was held at the end of February to celebrate the 100th anniversary
of scouting. The Cub Scouts assisted
in the Scouting for Food through the Salvation Army this month.
Also, thanks to the generosity of the SMCC congregation, over 760
coats were donated to Kinston ICOR.
Christopher H., Blake H., Noah S., and Joshua M., Webelos, earned
their God and Family medals this month.
Scout Sunday was held this month with the Cub
Scout Packs presenting the colors at the beginning of worship
services. \The Wolf Pack went to Wake
County this month to visit the natural science museums and they also
built birdhouses. Boys from the first
grade to the sixth grade are always welcome. Leaders are
sorely needed and appreciated. In the upcoming year, several
leaders will be moving on to the Boy Scouts with their boys.
Please consider helping us keep this pack going.
